The soft close is effective for new real estate agents or for those who are not comfortable asking a direct closing question. This is a friendly close, yet effective. When the buyer shows interest in a property, explain the process and then ask a question.
For instance, “I’m glad you like this home. The next step is to complete the paperwork and submit it with an earnest money check. I should have an answer tomorrow. Would you like to move forward?” It’s as easy as that!
