Bill Washburn, a well-known and popular Professor at the ASU Del Webb School of Construction, has been involved in the residential construction industry for the past 19 years.  His reputation as "Builder Bill" has been established based on his extensive knowledge, leadership and integrity among students, trade contractors, city officials, and home builders. 

Bill has spent his career in construction management, beginning with a prominent local builder and eventually serving as the Qualifying Party for one of the largest national homebuilders in Arizona.  He has been involved in home building start-ups, bringing new projects to market, trade negotiations, sustainable housing and internal resources.  Most recently, he served as Vice President of Operations for a construction services company, where he managed the integration of concrete, plumbing, framing, window, HVAC, trim carpentry and cabinet installations.  Bill now owns and manages his own business, ABSOLUTE GeneralContracting LLC, offering commercial, industrial, and residential new construction, remodeling and improvement services.

Bill currently holds, in good standing, an Arizona Registrar of Contractors License B. His broad range of construction knowledge also includes:  Six Sigma Green Belt Training in process improvement and OSHA Construction Safety and Health, residential plan review and building inspections.
