The next personality type is the Introverted, Analytical – (withdrawn, detail-oriented, questioning, smart)
This person could be an engineer or an accountant, or could be any person who is extremely detail-oriented. This person likes facts, not fluff! You had better have answers to the following questions:
  • Why are your prices so high?
  • Why are your construction materials inferior to the competition?
  • Can you break down every component of the home and tell me what kind of warranty comes with each?
These are just a few examples of questions that might be asked. Be confident and direct. If you are unsure, you had better get the answers. The introverted, analytical will only buy from a real estate professional who gives correct information. If you are incorrect or untruthful, this buyer may not come back and you will probably never know why.
The introverted, analytical can be difficult at times, but he/she is researched and ready to buy when the time is right. Find out what is important to him/her and answer every last question. Be patient because there may be dozens of questions. Ask trial closes throughout the sales process to make sure that you are on track and then, when the time is right, ask a direct closing question. He/she has asked many direct questions already. It is your turn!
